My Story
I grew up in a Christian home, I always had the privilege of seeing my parents worshipping the Lord. Growing up I thought I took my faith seriously. I was saved at a really young age, even though I had a great family I didn’t know what it truly meant to follow Christ in everything I do.
I lived as a lukewarm Christian for a long time following up to my junior year of high school. I chased worldly desires and did what I thought was right. Not understanding what it meant to love Jesus.
It wasn’t until Mark Navey came to be my youth pastor. He invested in my life and truly showed me what it meant to follow Jesus. This beautiful gospel my parents had been showing me all my life finally made sense. Mark took the students to Crossroads Summer Camp, I will never forget the speaker, Clayton King asked us to close our eyes and he started praying that students would be sent to want to go share the gospel with the world. I wrestled with God for a long time during this prayer. By the end I was fully committed to go into ministry and serve our wonderful Father. Since this I have dedicated my life to students and families to help them grow in what Jesus did on the Cross for us.
I want every family in the community, nation, and world to feel the love of Christ. I love serving the Church and I love discipling younger guys to understand the gospel and why it is important in our lives.
